And again I was here being a part of this biggest event of Cultural Department of The National University of Malaysia. Pheww... could you imagine I'd been here for the third time ! and yes which meant some of my friends in Dancing Club ( Aadyamaatra ) here would be leaving me soon. ( Correction : They had already left if we following the date that I wrote this and you read this )... How I missed them and the moments that we shared the tears and sweats together !
I was actually kind of sad when I knew that Aliah was not be able to attend this event. Because you know we were really good friends and dance mates ! opsss opss! We had a special Whatsapp group which ONLY consisted three of us - GG, Alyssa and Aliah ! And I named it " Pretty 3 Gugirls " ! What a sweet name ? I know ! :p As you know ASEAN JAZZ was the last event that we performed together :/ hehh.. luckily I still had Alyssa to be with for my second semester during my third year degree.
Since I knew this event was big, so the first thing that came across my mind was - WHAT TO WEAR ? This thing had my brain juice used up ! This was just a common question which would always bang in the mind of Non-Muslim (no treathen). And I personally would totally respect this aspect as I always self-proclaimed as BANGSAMALAYSIA *wink ;) yeapp... Toleration and moderation are the keys to live in Malaysia and I love every single culture that exists in my own country.
And, look what I did?
At first my mind was totally empty and the patterns of the dress that appeared in my mind was like the picture below which I knew it would be definitely banned by Kak Lin and Kak Bayu. :p
I know right. We needed to cover up. Being honestly, I just couldn't cover up. I meant I would like to wear what I felt like I wanted to wear. Just so to be more comfortable and real "me". And there I went to try on whatever I had in my closet -.-' It turned out I had nothing suitable to put on on that night -.-' So I took a photo of myself and shared it with Turtle, Alyssa and Winnie :) Well the respond was good, just that it would be a bit inappropriate due to the length of the skirt.
Yeapp... I didn't wear this eventually but I kept the blouse :) Just because the blouse would make me looked more lady :) And a day after, I found the crop-top which given by Alyssa ( MY BIRTHDAY PRESENT!) at the bottom part of my closet and the long pants that I bought in Malacca during the Tiong Hwa First Trip which was I placed in the pink basket :) I put it on but it turned out my bra was over-showing !
And again, this look was GG-ed !
( In Malaysian context, GG means good game which used to be shouted by gamer at the end of the game. And I believe most Malaysian would take GG as "That's the end of you. --- resources from Internet's slang )

At this moment, I was totally running out of ideas... What to do what to do what to do...?
There you go ! The blouse that I liked and the pants that I loved ! It was a perfect match in my eyes ! So I decided to wear it on that night :) It might be seemed not suit with the theme of the event, but whatever, I didn't have other clothes :(
So I was there. The Art-Appreciation Night :) The night was pretty good as I finally got back from hometown and met all ABs and Kak Lin again ;) Oh ! I missed to mention about this stuff. All of us ( third-year-students) was asked to fill in the form which was to participate the competition under the categories of Dance Art. I had filled it and submitted it. All I did was scrolling back my Facebook"s photo sections and checked all the photos that being tagged by Aadyamaatrians. I tell you, it helps!:p
As one of the candidates, I did put a slightly hope on it. Because it was all about luck ! Who knows ! ;) Just so you know I took it pretty easy because Art was subjective and Dancing was just a mere passion and love which could be told by any dancer in the world. Eventually, I got this reward :) I gotta thanks a lot of people who made me this :)
I felt so thankful and happy :) At the moment I thought the rewarding session had nothing to do with me anymore, I went out to take photos with Alyssa ( like usual :p), and then the people kept asking us back into the the hall. Ohh it was the last session of the night where the emcees were about to announce who would be the winners of the highest prizes. Being honestly, I had no idea it would be me. When the emcees were announcing, I was actually playing selfie with Emmelyn. And when the people who sat at the same table with me started to shout my name, I was still "don't know what is going on". All I heard was, ".... she is from Tesl, currently 3rd year in degree...." opsss...*blank* *blank* *blank*
What was it? Prize? It wasn't me. It couldn't be me right? No, I didn't fill in the form for that category. What? The other prize?
Now you could see how blurred I was. I was the owner of the "Reward of The Best Female Students in Art Appreciation". ( The real name is Anugerah Seni Mahasiswi. And I got it direct translated from Malay language to English. Please forgive me.)
I could never happier than today ! I was overwhelm with gratitude of loves and appreciations ! I was really really thankful for those who confirmed my ability and strength. :") :") And you know what, I was about to cry out loud. And here again even though I had spoken my thankful to all people that I have known in my Facebook, I'm hereby wanna say it again, I am really really thank you to every single one that appeared in my life. For all the things and moments that you had offered to me, for all the forgiven that you had given to me, for all the appreciation that you had laid on me, Jee Teng is here to give my deepest bow as a gratitude of thanks. I am no one without you. ( First, to all the officers and admins of Cultural Department UKM, Kak Ina, Kak Lin, Abang Ajazz, Abang Zul, Kak Bayu, Kak Tipah, Kak Reen, Abg Wan, Abg Zai, Abg Dhil, Abg Donia, Abg Dino, Mama Vee, Aadyamaatrians-Seniors and Juniors, and KKMers who know me, and my coursemate- TESL, and my Tiong Hwa Members, and my own Chinese Dance Group juniors ( KKM + KRK ). Secondly, to my Dance Club SMK Triang, Miss Hoh (teacher + aunt), all the dancers no matter seniors or juniors, current principal and former principal- Mr Loh Sai Heng, Low Teek Beng, and Cheong Chok Weng, all teachers of SMK Triang who have known me and neighbors in hometown. Last but not least, my biggest thanks to my family ! My parents, brothers and sisters-in-law who always giving me the highest and strongest support since I stepped my feet into dancing world, my uncles and aunts and cousins! and all the relatives I have !) I was so afraid I might leave out any person that I forgot to tell my thankfulness. I'm hereby giving my apology to whoever I had forgotten to mention the names.
This is me with my trophies and certificates :)
Thank you ;) And I caught the moment to take photo together with them !
Aadyamaatra's family. Feel a bit sad coz not everyone in it. :(
Thanks for this bless-ful night !
I love ya'll ! <3
